xxiii.
blissful surrender,
simply a beginning
stirring within;
petals shift beneath
the pond’s edge.
the lotus
rises slowly,
resolute across
the ages
of finite life.
Awareness beckons,
whispering truth
in silent prayer,
beyond doubt,
beyond fear.
we slide into decline,
questioning fate;
we fade.
yet, in absence,
stars shine brighter.
patient death awaits,
gently lifts the veil;
curious eyes behold
the startling awe
of creation.
